Book Amy to speak at your next event.
Amy speaks to women and to parents about the struggles of modern parenting, the emotional labor that women are asked to provide both at work and at home, the pitfalls of perfectionism, and the unexpected joy of finding new paths.
Her first book, When Did I Get Like This?, resulted from the success of her sixteen-city national tour of her one-woman show Mother Load.
Amy’s second book, Happy To Help: Adventures of a People Pleaser, touches on the many ways women are conditioned to be helpers, and how their own requests for help are too often met with advice to fix something in themselves.
Amy’s years of acting experience, podcast interviews, and comedy writing make her presentations as entertaining as they are thought-provoking.

“We have received nothing but rave reviews about the evening. Your talk was entertaining and fun—perfect for the event. Your warmth and willingness to chat and sign books for the attendees was greatly appreciated. We are eagerly awaiting your next book!”
--Roanoke Academy of Medicine Alliance
“Amy Wilson drew a crowd of over 50 women at our event, and she was just as witty and entertaining as I expected. I’ve heard from others who attended the event that it was ‘a much needed pick-me-up’ and ‘delightful.’ All in all, it was great fun to laugh at ourselves with Amy!”
-Margy Stratton, Milwaukee Reads
“It was so amazing to look around the room and see women howling at Amy’s talk. It is so rare that you see moms let their guard down and just laugh. She made everyone realize that we are all in the same boat.”
--PTA, St. Vincent Martyr School, Madison, NJ
